Apprentices and trainers should gain an insight into foreign technical skills and knowledge, production and manufacturing techniques and operational processes so that they can incorporate these into the training company on their return. The stays abroad are intended to improve the trainees' professional skills and career opportunities, improve their language skills and further develop their personality and intercultural competences.
To give our member companies and their trainees and trainers the opportunity to familiarise themselves with new working techniques and further develop intercultural skills. The know-how acquired abroad is to be transported back to the company. In the project, 17 places are to be allocated for individual secondments from the HWK's chamber district and 8 further places are to be made available for trainers and specialist teachers.
