We wanted to consolidate our international activities and, by gaining experience and acquiring essential skills, lay the foundations for accreditation, which we have now achieved. To achieve this, student and staff mobility programs were to be initiated and successfully implemented. We wanted to consolidate existing partnerships with foreign schools and gain new partners through our activities.
The Carl-Gotthard-Langhans-Schule has 61 teachers and approximately 950 students from nearly 30 countries enrolled in 20 vocational training programs on a part-time and full-time basis. Internationalization is part of our mission statement; we promote interculturalism, tolerance, multilingualism, and mobility among all teachers and students. The project was a milestone on the path to accreditation, which we have now achieved. We are striving to be certified as a European School in Lower Saxony.
