Objectives

The aim of the project is to offer learners and trainers the opportunity to acquire additional professional, technical, linguistic and intercultural qualifications in their field, and to attract SMEs to mobility activities through the expected added value that participants will bring back to the company. The Berlin Chamber of Skilled Crafts promotes the exchange of relevant players in vocational training and encourages the expansion of networks and the promotion of multipliers.

Background

Berlin's crafts sector is facing many global challenges and developments. Experiences from professional learning stays abroad as external impulses can help to understand these challenges as opportunities and to orientate the entrepreneurial future and vocational training with new knowledge and skills in a sustainable way. To achieve this, it is necessary to promote the internationalisation of vocational education and training by sending learners and trainers to other countries.
