Background

Unemployed and NEET young people face persistent challenges entering the labour market, often due to a mismatch between their skills and employers’ needs. VET programmes in many European countries still lack sufficient focus on digital and entrepreneurial competences demanded by the modern economy. Our organisations recognised these shared challenges among the participating countries that includes: limited digital readiness of VET educators, lack of innovative educational materials, and weak links between training and the labour market. The project was designed to bridge this gap by developing a curriculum and interactive online courses focused on virtual assistance, self-employment, and digital entrepreneurship. Through this initiative, we aimed to enhance the employability of unemployed youth, strengthen educators’ capacity, and support the adaptation of VET systems to the realities of the digital labour market. For this reason, the project involved three main target groups: partner organisations (VET providers), VET educators and unemployed/NEET citizens from our local communities.
