The most important and overarching goal during this project period is to involve young people who have little or no opportunity to participate in political and international projects. (More on the target group later.) In Activities 2 and 4, young people in our German-Irish exchange project met to discuss the topics of “Our health and our future.” This was a low-threshold activity that was the first international experience for many of the young people. Activity 1 was the preparation, which took place online. Activity 3 took place in person. Here, it was particularly important to reflect on Activity 2 in Ireland, to include the young people's reflections, and to respond to them where necessary. In A5, following the positive experiences of previous years, we brought together young adults who had participated in international encounters in our projects and who had demonstrated their willingness to take on responsibility, or who had found something they were passionate about for their professional future through the activities, in order to train them, share their experiences as participants, and recruit future team members. Our activities thrive on the fact that we have team leaders who are role models. Team leaders who have also been affected by classism, racism, and exclusion. This activity is truly at the heart of what we do, because otherwise our big summeractivity. In A6, we prepared A7 and planned this activity for one day together with A5 so that as many participants as possible could participate in the decision-making process. In A7, with the motto: ART OPEN MINDS! we brought together young people from Ireland, Turkey, Greece, and Germany to live and work together for 11 days, engaging in artistic activities, summer camp, and experiencing Europe. A8 was once again the first part of our German-Irish exchange, as an OUT measure, which is always at the beginning of our project. Unfortunately, we were unable to carry out the planned queer measure due to the illness of the person responsible. The offer I made to the Greeks that we could use this activity to forge a stronger partnership in a German-Greek activity was unfortunately rejected due to capacity reasons on the Greek side, so that we, in order not to leave it unused, carried this activity over from the subsequent implementation period.
