During the second activity year, we consistently pursued the goals established in the first year. We carried out five international activities, all aligned with the same overarching objectives: further developing comedy methodology within youth work; fostering young people's personal and social skills; strengthening intercultural competence and European awareness; breaking down linguistic and cultural "bubbles"; expanding digital skills and establishing digital youth work practices; and deepening European exchange. A key focus during the reporting period was professionalizing the existing project structure. This involved establishing an international organizational framework, local organizing teams at each location, an active media group, and a core group of committed young people who are increasingly taking on responsibility within the project. Methodological development was set to encompass new formats—such as comedy quizzes serving as icebreakers, a mentoring system led by experienced participants, more intensive feedback processes, writing workshops, open-mic events, storytelling workshops, and new approaches to social media engagement. To break down linguistic barriers, we aimed to further strengthen connections between Russian-, Ukrainian-, and English-speaking comedy communities. Through English-language formats, we sought to reach young people who prefer not to perform in Russian or who have consciously chosen to work in English following the outbreak of the war against Ukraine. The English-language platform was designed to create a space where Ukrainian and Russian artists—united by a shared commitment to peace and opposition to the war—could collaborate and exchange ideas. The goal of developing digital youth work was to provide young people with greater support in building their digital presence. Many participants expressed a desire to learn how to set up social media channels, produce content, publish regularly, and reach an audience of their own. We addressed these needs by tailoring our activities accordingly.
