The goals are to gain more European, intercultural and democratic skills. Our young people are constantly supported to organize activities independently. Here they should bring these skills into a larger project. This is intended to encourage them to then organize and manage such projects completely independently and/or to take advantage of European exchange opportunities individually as part of their training. In addition, the young people will pass on their experiences in their social environment (school, youth club, youth association) and promote democratic goals and the European idea and recruit other young people to take part in such projects. We also hope that lasting individual contacts will emerge between German and Icelandic young people, leading to long-term private exchange.
