Objectives

The project aimed to improve the knowledge, skills, and competences of young people and youth leaders from six EU countries in the field of environmental protection, with a particular focus on food waste. It strengthened participants' awareness of sustainable practices and encouraged them to become eco activists and promoters of green habits through non formal education. The project provided opportunities for participants, including young people with fewer opportunities, to learn about food waste management, exchange good practices from different countries, and take part in practical workshops, study visits, and discussions with environmental experts. It also promoted intercultural understanding through cultural evenings and improved participants' communication, teamwork, leadership, organizational, digital, and English language skills. The project encouraged participants to create awareness raising materials, document their learning through the Youthpass process, and actively disseminate the project results in their local communities. At the organizational level, it strengthened cooperation between partner organizations, supported the exchange of good practices, increased their capacity to work with young people, and established long term partnerships for future Erasmus Plus projects and environmental initiatives. OBJECTIVES: - Improving the knowledge, competencies, skills and habits of the participants in the field of food waste and food pollution - Developing methodologies for the promotion of green habits through youth act and non-formal education - Designing activities for the promotion of food recycling actions and reducing the non-living impacts of food pollution - Exchange of national practices from 6 EU countries in the area of food pollution and protection of the environment through non-formal education - Promotion of young people with fewer opportunities with minimal experience in the field of the Erasmus+ program
