The participants of this project gained a varied of knowledge, skills and tools, by using theater- and other creative non-formal methods about how to understand their own situation, to identify their own needs and wishes and to change certain things around them. The main topic the participants were dealing with was „Home & Identity.“ The participants worked together by using many creative methods, on the following questions: What is home for me? When do I feel at home, what is needed for this? How much is home connected to a place? To what else is it connected? Can I have more than one home? How can I support others to feel home/like at home? What can I do after the youth-exchange to feel more at home in my own home and how can I support others in my surrounding to do so. The follow-up-activities were connected to the motto „My homework is to make my home work.“ The participants and the group-leader shared their ideas, perspectives and finally experiences of their own follow-up-activities „24 ways to feel home“ to inspire and motivate each other. Never before so many people on earth were not living where or close to where they were born.
