Young people worldwide, including in Germany and Ukraine, need more guidance than ever in navigating the complex challenges facing their generation. Young people in Ukraine have lived under the threat of airstrikes for two years, pursuing their education under these circumstances while searching for opportunities to find their own path and sense of self. All young people with this desire need a safe and trusting environment to achieve it. Our project, the Inter Exchange Academy, aimed to provide such a space and offer formative support in finding direction and shaping future perspectives. The project focused primarily on inclusion and diversity, key competencies, and mental health, with an emphasis on social participation. These themes were central to all activities during the implementation, as well as in the preparation and follow-up phases. The goal was to provide participants with significant knowledge growth in these areas while empowering and encouraging them to engage in community-oriented actions within these fields.
