The training course Erasmus+ Going Virtual - Online Methods for Youth Workers was addressing the important need of youth workers involved in activities with youth at risk of social exclusion - the need for innovative digital youth work methods that can be used online in crisis times for the benefits of target groups, providing them with a safe space for sharing their experiences and expressing their emotions. This project tried to address this issue by giving youth workers a chance to go through a variety of methods that are practical and can be implemented when working with different kinds of groups at risk of exclusion while at the same time making use of easy creative tools. The use of digital youth work methodology will soon be very widespread in many countries but unfortunately was not often in the agenda of youth workers in the EaP region. EGV training course objectives were as mentioned below: - To provide participants with knowledge about the latest digital youth work methods and its possible benefits for youth work, especially working with young people at risk of exclusion during crisis times and in limited communicational abilities. - To equip youth workers with new skills to promote social inclusion for vulnerable youth in local communities - To create a platform of self-exploration and self-reflection to better understand the needs of vulnerable youth - To create a platform for intercultural communication and inclusive dialogue between the youth of EU and Partner countries - To develop EGV Methodology Framework together with follow-up local initiatives taking into account the skills and knowledge gained during the project - To facilitate after-project partnership between participants and reinforce their international scope and capacities
