The project ‘Youth Dialogue as Tool for Community Change’ focused on exploring the impact of youth dialogue on community change. The partners increased their understanding of the impact that involving young people had on their communities to better advocate for youth involvement and address possible concerns of those who did not fully support active youth participation and involvement. What we achieved back in the project can be summarized as: The participants increased their competencies such as youth dialogue which lead them to empower young people to take part in such actions and raise the awareness of their peers, focus groups to raise the importance of the youth dialogue in decision making processes, and advocacy campaigns. Especially our partners exchanged good practices for the youth dialouge activities where they became able to tackle the barriers by sharing good practices, tools, and methods. By reaching local, national and international practices, youth dialogue got improved by the approach of youth councils, youth parliaments. Our directly involved youth workers and indirectly involved youth workers actively involved in youth dialogue process to present their opinions more, took part in decision making experiments which made them to get activated. Our youth workers from the project also created portfolios where they improved their skills on visiblity. We explored the impact of youth dialogue in local communities and strengthened our ability to advocate more effectively for it, including the active involvement of young people in decision-making processes and policy creation. We increased participants’ knowledge of the Erasmus+ Programme and supported the development of new project ideas, particularly youth participation activities that promote youth dialogue. We also organised two webinars on the importance of youth dialogue, raising awareness about the significance of involving young people in shaping the future of their communities.
