In order to successfully include foreign-language speakers in our educational activities, our educators must be familiar with best practices in inclusion and possess the methodological skills to adapt existing programs and services and, if necessary, create new ones. In addition to expanding pedagogical knowledge and skills, we sought to adapt existing and create new educational programs for the inclusion of foreign-language speakers.
The National Library of Estonia (RaRa) will reopen its long-renovated building in Tõnismäe in the spring of 2028. The project "Inclusion of non-native speakers in the educational services" was created to realize the vision of a new-generation library with an open, inspiring, and inclusive environment, where the foreign-language-speaking population can also find their place and access services tailored to their needs. So our trainers need the skills and to create suitable educational programs.
