The aim of the project was to develop the competences of teachers and support specialists working with young people with special needs, enabling them to provide the best possible support to these young people, in line with Objective 4 of the Activity Plan. More specifically, the learning mobility activity carried out within the project aimed to bring together managers and specialists responsible for support services for young people, as well as teachers, for discussions, study visits and the exchange of experience, thereby combining two perspectives and fields of practice. The objective was to broaden the participating professionals’ knowledge and understanding of how young people are supported in developing greater independence and active participation in different contexts, including vocational education and leisure activities, as well as in organisations providing support services across different fields and supported living opportunities. The mobility also explored how the various parties cooperate to achieve these shared objectives.
