The young people from Estonia wanted to get an experience in creating and implementing an Erasmus+ project for their peers. And to give heritage more attention, especially from young people. The aim was to empower participants to take initiative, develop leadership skills, and foster their capacity to plan and execute international projects, which builds their confidence and competence for future endeavors. The second aim of the project was to incorporate heritage into the daily lives beyond decorative or tourist purposes. By doing this one would be more in tune with their heritage and roots, creating more rounded individuals with a strong sense of self. By sharing their heritage with other cultures the project will also create a more understanding and open European community. The project was from young people to young people, using non-formal learning methods supported by reflection. The project tackled barriers that might hinder the participation of young people and used sustainable practices.
