In our Youth Exchange Criti?al th?inking we had several aims and crucial objectives which we wanted to be heard, improved and achieved. Our aim was to create a space, where during the time of youth exchange participants, aged 18-25 from 5 different countries can meet, share their cultural peculiarities, share their own experience and the most important - learn new about critical thinking and develop their own knowledge all together. Project idea was centered around usage of critical thinking, how exactly it can be used, where it might be helpful along with how to improve this skill. For example, we made an attempt to focus a lot of attention on how to detect lies from the truth using digital and traditional methods, for instance, such topic as how to find out when image is generated by Artificial Intelligence. In addition, we wanted to show how to form your own opinion, make better decisions, solve problems more effectively and communicate more persuasively. With our project we wanted to increase the awareness of solidarity and mutual respect among people and the protection of human rights as well as contribute to peace and security and the sustainable development of our future. Furthermore, we tried to show our participants that soft skill such as critical thinking can be used in daily life situations. It doesn't matter if you are choosing what you are going to have for dinner or if you are taking part in your country's local election. Adding to what was mentioned above, since it is a youth exchange, on our project we surely wanted everyone to feel included, for participants to feel safe, for them to be able to share their thoughts and ideas. We wanted to make sure that everybody is welcome to contribute. Also because of the fact that we were going to have 5 different countries from different sides of the world, we knew that it is an excellent opportunity for everyone to show their differences, cuisine, traditions, culture and peculiarities. Implementing group also hoped that participants can stay friends with each other and keep in touch, and for example, if one is from Moldova and came after the project to Italy, he can easily text to the group chat and share his location with the invite to meet, talk and discuss how their life has been over the time they haven't seen each other.
