Objectives

We wanted to achieve the development and strengthening of key competences required for personal progress, employability, active citizenship and social inclusion, offering training and learning activities tailored to the needs of the participants, helping them achieve financial independence and eliminate the obstacles they face. Participants achieved improved employability, improved career prospects, self-esteem.

Background

The main issues that have motivated our work are persistent unemployment, the increasing poverty of the population of Volos due to generalized inflationary pressures and the post-pandemic situation, especially in mental well-being. All of these issues, both individually and in combination, disproportionately affect the less privileged and have a direct impact on their future prospects due to the spiraling effects of discouragement and loss of initiative.
