Objectives

Equip our staff and learners with 1). methodologies for collective storytelling to keep communities engaged by fostering a collective narrative, 2). skills to utilize journalist tools and digital platforms to develop and execute effective campaigns, ensuring the dissemination of community narratives to a wider public. Enhance the sense of shared values of sustainability, equality and inclusion and facilitate exchange of knowledge on social innovation between Italian and Greek communities.

Background

Communitism and its learners are engaged in community-based social innovation projects. Their resilience relies profoundly on the cultivation and sustenance of a collective narrative that encapsulates their mission and identity, as well as on their capacity to engage the wider public. This necessity has been accentuated recently, particularly given the challenges posed by gentrification, climate change, and economic crisis, which have significantly impacted civic participation in communities.
