Objectives

Pathway is an experiential based non-formal learning project focused on the social inclusion of young people, freedom of expression and competences development, especially for those with fewer opportunities. Through this project we are aiming to empower the participants by creating an international community where they can freely express themselves and develop necessary competences and adopt certain attitudes that would support them to be more inclusive, aware of multiculturalism, confident and equipped with skills and positive attitudes that would make them more valuable also in the labor market. Today, just having technical skills isn't enough to stay employed or succeed in most jobs. Young people now need to be good at talking and working with others, and they need to know how to start things on their own. Often, employers want young people to have skills that they can't learn in regular school or university classes. By organising this exchange program, we aim to help young people get better at these important skills and attitudes. Our YE also focuses on making young people feel like they belong and are included, especially by doing activities that build a sense of community. We aim to break down walls between different groups of people, whether those differences are cultural, from living in different places, money-related, or social. So, we want to bring in young people who might not usually get to join in – those who are often left out because of money problems, trouble at school, cultural differences, or living in remote areas. We're working to make sure everyone feels a sense of belonging, not just within our group but also in their local areas, their own countries, and with the whole European Union. OBJECTIVES: • to bring together 6 group leaders and 32 young people from 6 European countries to the YE; • to bring together at least 18 young people with fewer opportunities to the project activities; • to enhance 38 young people competences through non-formal education; • To foster attitudes and mindset of 38 participants, so that they become more motivated and empowered. • to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes of 38 participants in order for them to become equipped with necessary competences that helps them to be more appealing in the labor market; • To ensure an environment where 38 participants are breaking barriers and stereotypes towards different social groups. • to create 6 videos promoting employability, battling stereotypes and inclusion in the EU • to support the employability of NEEts and other young people through Erasmus+ opportunities; • to raise awareness in Erasmus+ and European opportunities and enhance EU identity to the participant, their communities and the sending organisations; • To plan and implement at least 6 follow-up activities in each national group after the Youth Exchange in their local communities. • to encourage 6 partner organisations to broaden their professional network and acquire new tools, methods and practices for future project implementation Our desire as participants, leaders and partners is to support youth to become more employable and in particular those that have difficulties in being part of education. We want to share our experience, knowledge and passion about European and Erasmus+ opportunities to promote EU identity to the participants as well as support them in developing their employability skills in the union. For these reasons we created a project to support youth and youth practice about employability, leadership and Eu identity.
