The project "Lights, Camera... Action! EuroGoals on Screen" is a transnational initiative for 28 youth workers coming from 7 different countries: Greece, Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, and Poland. Wheelin2help will coordinate and organize the training course with the support of 3 trainers and one person in charge of the logistics, which is planned to take place in Raches, Greece in NISI Glamping. The main goal of the training course is to enhance the digital skills of the Youth Workers through digital content creation and to raise awareness of the European Youth Goals and their importance in the promotion of European Values. Thanks to the acquired digital skills, the Youth Workers will be able to be effective in their dissemination strategy to engage the younger generations, thus promoting European Youth Goals and European Values at each level: Local, National, European, and International. The first objective of the project is to empower Youth Workers with new digital tools to broaden their skills, and through them to increase the effectivity of Social Media and Communication Strategies of organizations working on the local level for a better impact. The second objective is to understand how to use different existing platforms to develop digital content creation while boosting the visibility of Youth Work, European Youth Goals, and European Values. The third objective is to promote the relevance of the European Youth Goals as a tool to empower youth (the target group) to play an active role in their local community, as well as produce a ripple effect on the National and European level to combat increasing levels of Euroscepticism. The fourth objective is the training of Youth Workers and empowering them with newly available and existing digital tools to approach the youngest by using the new digital language. Through a diverse range of assignments, creative activities, and intercultural events, participants will deeply grasp the European Youth Goals. They will also improve their intercultural understanding, challenge stereotypes, nurture respect for diversity, and reinforce their dedication to actively contributing to societal betterment. Additionally, this project will establish a communication platform for youth workers, enabling them to share the positive outcomes and personal insights gained during the project. In particular, participants will exchange experiences, best practices, and ideas. They will apply the learning-by-doing approach to assess existing non-formal education methods and collaborate on developing fresh digital content creation strategies that can be integrated into their future work. Consequently, this training aims to enhance the capacity of youth workers to engage the younger generation in addressing Euroscepticism challenges and to commit to promoting European Youth Goals and European Values. This includes upholding diversity, fostering social inclusion and solidarity, and actively participating in various forms of active citizenship.
