“TEENs in the lead” is a project targeting young people aged 16-29 and aiming to offer them learning and training in regard to European affairs and more specifically, the way the EU is structured and functions in our society while also its impact via the legislations, initiatives and various actions. Our project that seeks to address the issue of restricted youth active civic participation in democratic processes at the European level, which is largely a result of a lack of knowledge and comprehension of the EU itself. Focusing on the European Youth Goal of “Connecting EU with Youth”, this initiative aims to provide knowledge for the young people who will embrace the European Union and, consequently, their European identity to a greater extent.
