Objectives

Our project aims to create transformative journeys for personal growth, cross-cultural exchange, and breaking stereotypes among participants aged 18 with fewer opportunities and disabilities that will participate in Discover EU action. Through immersive travel experiences, participants will engage with diverse cultures, challenge stereotypes and explore european identity and their possibilities while breaking down barriers to participation connected with accessibility and inclusivity. When it comes to the objectives: 1. European Identity Enhancement: Participants will be challenged to discover their EU opportunities and be called to be more active participants in their communities, based on EU values. As the trip will take place in diverse EU places, participants will have the chance to explore their capabilities as EU citizens and also promote this to the outer world. 2. Trips with Impact: The project consists of two impactful journeys, each focused on exploring unique regions of Europe while promoting cross-cultural understanding through EU & Erasmus+ opportunities. Participants will travel across various countries, engaging in discussions, workshops, and collaborative activities. 3. Sustainable traveling and living: As our project will take place using the Discover EU action, it will consist of fully accessible and inclusive green traveling around the EU. With this, participants will be challenged to discover green solutions on their way of living and traveling, but also ways to influence their communities on the importance of taking care of the environment and global green-solutions. 4. Empowering Those with Fewer Opportunities: Participants with diverse backgrounds and fewer opportunities will be the core focus. They will receive tailored support including pre-travel training, intercultural workshops, and mentoring to ensure their active involvement and personal development. 3. Stereotype Breaking Advocacy: A central goal is to break stereotypes through immersive experiences. Through interactive workshops, visits to healthcare institutions, and sharing personal experiences, participants will actively challenge preconceptions and promote the importance of EU opportunities and their accessibility and inclusion.
