We aimed to foster inclusion and diversity, strengthen the sense of belonging and European citizenship through cultural heritage, enhance teachers’ methodological and digital competences, and increase the participation, motivation, and autonomy of adult learners, with the goal of reducing school dropout rates and consolidating the school’s internationalization.
Our school is IES Reyes Católicos in Vélez-Málaga, a leading institution for adult education in the Axarquía region. Our student body is highly diverse, with a large number of low-income individuals and migrants. In response to challenges such as school dropout, lack of motivation, and the need to improve digital and international competences, we have launched this project to foster inclusion, strengthen European identity, and promote technological innovation.
