With this Erasmus mobility, we aimed for our students to experience other cultures, leaving behind prejudices and learning how work is done in another European institution. Additionally, we intended for them to learn other welding techniques at a center where it was one of their specialties. We also aimed to establish a connection with another European institution that would enrich both students and teachers on both sides.
Our students are studying the second year of Basic Vocational Training in Manufacturing and Assembly, and due to their background of previous school failure and fewer opportunities, this Erasmus mobility has been a way to open their minds, learn about other cultures and working methods, as well as adding a new experience to their resumes.
