The main objective of project 2024-1-ES01-KA131-HED-000204748 was to continue strengthening the internationalisation strategy of IES Mare Nostrum through high-quality Erasmus+ mobility opportunities for Higher Vocational Education and Training students. The project aimed to improve participants' employability by enabling them to complete part of their practical training in European companies, where they could acquire professional skills, improve their language competence, develop intercultural awareness and increase their autonomy and adaptability in international working environments. Another important objective was to strengthen cooperation with reliable European host organisations, consolidating long-term partnerships capable of offering high-quality traineeships that meet the learning outcomes of our vocational programmes. The project also sought to promote equal opportunities by encouraging the participation of students with fewer opportunities and by offering mobility opportunities both to current students and to recent graduates, thus facilitating their transition into the labour market. Finally, the project contributed to the implementation of our Erasmus Plan and the principles of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), reinforcing the international dimension of our institution and supporting the continuous improvement of vocational education and training.
