The project aimed to integrate European values such as tolerance, diversity, and participation into daily educational practices. It focused on strengthening teachers’ capacity through practical methods, increasing students’ active participation, and promoting cultural diversity and inclusion. In addition, it aimed to develop key competences such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and digital skills, while strengthening international cooperation among partner schools.
The project was initiated to address the insufficient integration of European values such as tolerance, diversity, and participation into everyday educational practices. A needs analysis conducted across partner schools revealed that students had limited awareness of these values, while teachers lacked the practical methods and tools to effectively incorporate them into their teaching. At the same time, both groups showed a strong willingness to engage in related activities and professional development. In addition, participating organisations identified the need to modernise their approaches to social issues in education, strengthen inclusive practices, and improve their capacity to address diversity, social barriers, and special educational needs. There was also a clear need for international cooperation to exchange good practices and develop innovative teaching methods. Therefore, the project was designed to respond directly to these needs by strengthening teachers’ competences, increasing student participation, and embedding inclusive, value-based education into school systems through transnational collaboration.
