Objectives

With the exchange project, our aim was for our young people to develop interpersonal skills by strengthening their ability to communicate with other young people from different countries and cultures; to promote empathy and understanding, taking into account the context from which some of the participants came, fostering social inclusion. The objectives of the project were also: - Strengthen intercultural learning: as the young people had the opportunity to learn about cultures other than their own, - To develop social and communicative skills, as it was a challenge for our young people to communicate in a language other than their own, to get out of their comfort zone to interact with other young people with similar concerns to their own but with different cultures, etc. - Strengthening European citizenship, being young people from different European countries we strengthened the sense of belonging and cooperation of the European Union. FRAMEWORK OF THE SEMINAR: The seminar aims to foster intercultural understanding, promote intercultural dialogue and provide young people with the opportunity to explore new cultures, develop new skills and build lasting connections. By creating a platform for international cooperation and knowledge exchange, we hope to empower young people and promote their personal and professional development.  OBJECTIVES Promote youth exchanges: The main objective of the contact seminar is to develop a youth exchange programme specifically tailored to young people under the age of 18. By partnering with organisations experienced in youth development and exchange programmes, we aim to create an engaging and impactful programme that provides young participants with opportunities for intercultural learning and personal growth. Foster intercultural understanding: The seminar aims to foster intercultural understanding and dialogue between young people from different backgrounds and countries. By bringing together diverse participants, we seek to promote tolerance, empathy and respect for cultural diversity, thus contributing to a more inclusive and harmonious society. Facilitate knowledge sharing: The networking seminar will serve as a platform for organisations and institutions to exchange good practices, innovative approaches and successful strategies in the field of youth exchanges. By sharing knowledge and experiences, we aim to improve the quality of youth exchanges.
