Objectives

YOUTH EXCHANGE: The objectives of the project were: - To provide and ensure a suitable environment for the participants' well-being from a holistic perspective. - To guarantee space and tools so that participants could conduct workshops and activities on holistic well-being for the entire group. - To promote and foster a continuous learning environment through reflection and the documentation of practices using soft skills. - To build a community and a meeting point among young people from different backgrounds and regions, fostering meaningful cultural exchange, and emphasizing inclusion and diversity as shared values within the group and throughout the development of our gatherings. Concretely, through morning meditation and yoga sessions, along with the workshops led by the participants, the aim was to bring tools and inspiration to young people for greater well-being in their lives—laying the foundations to develop healthy, sustainable, and lasting practices in their lives and communities. -To promote the Erasmus+ program and its opportunities through informative and practical sessions about carrying out future projects. This youth exchange sought to respond, at least in part, to current demands and challenges by offering young people a space to connect with themselves, with their surroundings, and with future project possibilities—while highlighting their skills and abilities in a safe environment and fostering a network. TRAINING COURSE: With the implementation of the project "Walking Towards Gender Equality", our goal was to create a course for youth workers and young leaders, during which they could acquire tools, resources, and information on the topic of gender equality and inclusion. This would then allow them to develop spaces for reflection, workshops, and activities within their local communities. Additionally, one of the course’s key objectives was to build a transnational network of youth workers interested in the topic, enabling mutual support, experience-sharing related to youth work, and future collaboration and networking—developed through the in-person sessions held during the course. The specific objectives of the project were: - To provide tools and resources on various topics related to the concept of gender equality: addressing and developing themes such as patriarchy, gender roles and stereotypes, gender-based violence, the LGBTQIA+ community, and intersectionality. - To build a transnational network of youth workers and young leaders committed to meaningful social change and the course’s central themes—a network that offers mutual support, enables future partnerships and projects, and enriches individual experiences while generating new community-based and collective initiatives. - To allow participants to facilitate a short workshop during the course itself, putting into practice what they learned in previous days, refining their facilitation skills, and receiving constructive feedback from fellow participants before leading these workshops in their local communities. - To exchange experiences, information, and networks regarding the Erasmus+ Programme, its goals, and its opportunities.
