With the implementation of this project we want our young people to share a new experience of meeting and coexistence with a group, to be motivated and make them reflect on the following aspects: - The historical, geographical and human reality of the different countries. - Diversity: being in contact with students from different social backgrounds and diverse abilities, from other countries, other cultures and other languages. In short, to promote respect among different people. - The presence of women in industry: encouraging vocations in technical professions. To change the culture of gender in the industrial sector. In this sense we would also like to actively engage and involve participants with fewer opportunities, for instance those coming from rural environments. - Racism towards other cultures. - Multilingual learning and use of English as a communication tool. The importance of the use of English, both general and technical, as the companies where they are going to work are international companies with contacts with different countries. - Equality: make them realise that we are all equal regardless of gender, origin… learning about inclusion and diversity. - Values such as respect, companionship, assertiveness, commitment, tolerance, responsibility, generosity, humility, gratitude, honesty, etc. - Cross-curricular competences such as: autonomy, involvement, initiative, teamwork, decision-making, problem solving, learning to learn, oral and written communication in English, digital communication and collaboration and last but not least, digital and physical security. - Teamwork: encouraging partnerships and constructive dialogue in the search for solutions to the problems suggested. Development of qualities such as assertiveness and understanding and internalising the different work roles (leadership, planner, digital). - The environmental impact of activities. - Planning a project and carrying out the planning, respecting the timing, deadlines, etc. - The digital revolution: fostering communication and learning through different digital platforms, which facilitate such cooperation and communication. Among the technical objectives we would like our participants: - To learn new design software programmes (Solid Edge, Solid works, Fusion 360) - To design using surfaces - To use new manufacturing methods. Additive Manufacturing - To use manufacturing software to generate machining paths. - To use different machinery or manufacturing procedures - To automate the navigation of the Radio Controlled Power Boat and learn from this. - To become aware of the importance of the exploded drawing for the manufacture of the part. - To see that the drawing regulations are the same for everyone, everywhere. - To see the importance of the TKNIKA wheel and the steps in a project. In short, that our young people participate in enriching activities for their personal development, in a safe, non-discriminatory environment and ensuring their protection and safety at all times, foreseeing and taking all the necessary measures to prevent and reduce risks as is done in the real professional environment throughout the industry in Europe. Finally we would like to generate environmental awareness by promoting responsible and sustainable attitudes towards the environment and by raising awareness of the importance of acting to reduce or offset the environmental footprint.
