Objectives

The objectives of our project are to address the specific challenges faced by rural communities and empower young individuals from remote areas to actively participate and improve their local rural communities across Europe. We aim to achieve the following through our project: Bridging the digital divide: We want to promote equal access to technology and its benefits in rural areas. By providing digital skills training and resources, we aim to bridge the gap between rural and urban areas in terms of digital literacy and access to technology. Empowering youth: We want to empower young people in rural areas by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to leverage technology for their personal and professional development. Through our project activities, we aim to boost their confidence, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. Creating entrepreneurial opportunities: We aim to identify and create entrepreneurial opportunities for young people in rural areas. By leveraging technology, we want to help them develop innovative solutions, start their own businesses, and contribute to the economic growth of their communities. Enhancing visibility and collaboration: Through the development of websites and other digital tools, we aim to enhance the visibility of rural communities. We want to promote local businesses, good practices initiatives, and create online platforms for collaboration and knowledge sharing among young people in rural areas. Promote gender equality in the tech field: We acknowledge the gender stereotypes that exist in the tech field, which often discourage women from pursuing tech-related studies and careers. Our project includes positive actions targeted towards women, aiming to challenge these stereotypes and demonstrate that gender equality is achievable in the tech field. Fostering social inclusion: We want to address the needs of vulnerable groups within youth, such as people living in remote areas, unemployed individuals, migrants, refugees, and individuals without education. By providing educational technological activities targeted at these groups, we aim to promote social inclusion and empower them to overcome the obstacles they face. From the perspective of youth work practice, our project aims to provide young people in rural areas with opportunities for personal and professional growth. We want to equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to navigate the digital world and contribute to their communities. Through our project activities, we aim to foster creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and entrepreneurship among young people. We also aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where young people can connect, learn from each other, and develop their potential.
