Objectives

RETURN TO RURAL is a project to raise awareness about the environment and sustainable living by reducing our ecological footprint together with the tools to adapt these skills to an innovative and sustainable working future where 32 participants from 6 countries: Spain, Portugal, France, Croatia, Czech Republic and Lithuania; will be participants and therefore agents of change and multipliers in their circles and associations. Our Objectives: .-To provide participants with leisure resources away from consumerism and sedentary lifestyles, offering them a range of activities that make them enjoy and be an active part of society. .-To bring them closer to sustainable consumerism and neighbourhood bartering and consumer communities, introducing them to communities and basic trades as tools for self-sufficiency or proposals for possible job opportunities where they can enjoy and develop as active and committed people (as well as learning and gaining skills and experiences). .-To get participants to get to know the reality and social fabric of the communities in which they live, so that, according to their interests, they can carry out actions there once they have developed a logical framework for them, helping them to become active people in their environment. .- Create a network of digital connections to improve their competences and skills (blog, website, Youtube channel, Facebook page, Whatsapp group) where they can share the results obtained and continue the work after the exchange. .-To create a documentary of the project where the participants provide the editable material and to show it both in our dissemination network and in the media of our localities. .-To get to know different cultures, through the cultural nights by countries and through the coexistence in mixed rooms and multi-country work teams. .-To get to know the Youthpass certificate through the activities described in this project, making the participants aware of its importance, their ability to individualise their own certificate, and its possibilities of exploitation. .-To live together and carry out a study about the subsistence and exploitation of active tourism companies in the area and to be able to extrapolate these experiences to our realities. During the pre-exchange phase, all the participants will be involved to a greater or lesser extent, individually or in groups, in the elaboration of activities, editable material, presentations, logos, etc. .- To maintain English as the vehicular language of the exchange in order to improve and develop our communicative skills in this language. .- To bring participants closer to the scout model of "creating your own canoe" if you want to sail. .- Promote, from diversity and knowledge exchange, a greater awareness of sustainability as well as the development of competences and skills (organic farming, responsible lifestyles). According to different priorities of the Erasmus 21-27 Programme, inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, environment and fight against climate change, we will implement a programme able to: - Strengthen skills and competences for employment Learn by doing. - Promote intercultural dialogue and diversity. - Raise awareness of sustainable development. - Strengthen partnerships. This project is the logical consequence of our associative values and our goals for society. At the end of the project we hope that our participants will have a greater understanding of the vitality of living a healthy and GREEN life and will be able to adapt their future work and put their learning into practice in their communities.
