The main aim of “Empowering Youth Changemakers” was to equip young people with the awareness, empathy, and practical tools to become active changemakers in their communities and across Europe. We wanted to create a space where participants could explore social challenges, build intercultural understanding, and develop personal and civic competences through creative, experience-based learning. The specific objectives of the project were: *To raise awareness about social issues such as gender equality, children's rights, poverty, disability, and cultural prejudice through interactive activities like public reaction tests and role-play. *To foster empathy, civic responsibility, and social engagement by allowing participants to step into the experiences of marginalized or misunderstood groups. *To promote intercultural learning and cooperation among young people from Spain, Türkiye, Romania, and Latvia by working in mixed teams and sharing cultural values. *To support the personal growth of participants, including the development of soft skills such as public speaking, teamwork, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. *To inspire participants to become multipliers in their own communities by giving them tools to share what they’ve learned and start their own initiatives. *To increase understanding of Erasmus+ and Youthpass as opportunities for non-formal learning, youth empowerment, and international mobility. By implementing the project, we aimed to show that young people can take the lead in raising awareness, confronting stereotypes, and building a more inclusive and empathetic Europe — one action at a time.
