Objectives

The "EuroNarratives" project arises in response to the pressing need to empower and foster youth participation in society's current context. This initiative, conceived innovatively and participatively, aims to harness the power of storytelling as a central tool to enable participants to explore and share their experiences uniquely, establishing significant connections between diverse cultures. Through a diverse combination of elements such as wrestling, board games, digital tools, and "Democracy Fitness," the project offers a comprehensive approach that incorporates both physical and intellectual aspects. This translates into promoting individual creative expression and fostering collaboration among participants, thereby contributing to building a stronger community conscious of cultural diversity. The emphasis on youth participation and "Democracy Fitness" underscores the importance of active youth involvement in society. This is achieved by cultivating essential skills for informed decision-making and problem-solving, fundamental aspects for the development of a critical and engaged citizenship. Additionally, the integration of playful elements like wrestling and board games enriches the learning process, making it more attractive and memorable. This approach creates a conducive environment for personal growth and the development of social skills among participating youth. The genesis of this project dates back to a partner-building event organized by the association AC AMICS DE LA BIBLIOTECA DE LA FONTETA in Piles last summer. During this gathering, various organizations, including Tyris, identified storytelling as a common point of interest and experience. From this shared recognition, the idea of carrying out this youth exchange emerged, where each entity will contribute its expertise in specific areas of storytelling. In summary, "EuroNarratives" aims to empower youth, promote civic participation, build community, and develop skills and competencies. By aspiring to transform youth mindset, this project seeks to promote critical thinking, empowerment, and active participation in society.
