"Theater of empathy: a place 4 diversity" is a project that seeks to promote cultural change that embraces diversity as a core value through theater, which gives voice to the diversity that characterizes Europe. This exchange will create a positive impact on a personal and social level as, through theater, a world unfolds where the stories of different cultures, identities and experiences intertwine, creating an environment that celebrates the richness of our diversity. The importance of this connection between diversity and theater lies in its ability to build bridges between communities, challenge deeply rooted stereotypes and foster a deeper and more respectful understanding between individuals. Through theater, we not only share stories, but also provide a vital space for empathy, understanding and mutual appreciation. In addition, this project will seek to address needs such as the promotion and participation of young people with fewer opportunities in international projects, especially: ethnic and cultural minorities, migrants and refugees, youth at risk of exclusion, people with functional diversity, etcetera; in order to enrich the experience for all participants by promoting inclusion, personal development, empowerment, diversity and social cohesion and the opportunity to create support networks. The main objectives of this project are as follows: 1. To use theater as a tool to promote social and cultural diversity. 2. To foster intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding and bridge building between diverse communities. 3. To conduct theater workshops that stimulate the learning of social, artistic and personal skills. 4. To facilitate the participation of people with fewer opportunities in international projects and exchanges and in European social life. 5. To raise awareness of the Erasmus + program and the opportunities it offers to young people in Europe. 6. To promote the active participation of young people in the democratic and social life of Europe.
