Objectives

Natura-Youth connection is the title of this exchange project – traveling through a region of France and another of Spain that unites nature, forests and the natural environment, and which arose from the collaboration of two public entities with common objectives and complementary. This title will value young people's connection with the natural environment that surrounds us and that sometimes we forget that we are a part of. In addition, the young participants will reflect on other aspects - Intercultural education (exchange of cultures). - Reflection on ICT in a healthy way - Reflection on the community, participation, teamwork and active citizenship. - Reflection on the circular economy and the responsibility of citizens in favor of responsible and sustainable consumption. The main objective is the connection with the environment of young people in a common space where young Europeans interact and establish relational, cultural and healthy ties (sports, care for the environment and the group...). There is also the issue of consumption at these ages, so we want to influence a change through experience and play. This exchange is a journey full of symbolism directly related to nature and our society. The proposed methodology is based on observation, self-learning, co-education, non-formal education and the socio-affective methodology of feeling, thinking and acting. We will also work throughout the entire project, completing it with non-violent communication where your own needs are taken into account, as well as those of others. Through this itinerant camp, reflection is sought on personal connections, on the environment that surrounds us and our place in it, the promotion of dialogue and multicultural encounters between young people from different environments and cultures, and consequently the awareness and tolerance towards other cultures and ways of life. It will be a space for languages to coexist. It will also be a space for reflection on the carbon footprint we generate and the actions that reduce and/or avoid it.
