Since the climate and environmental crisis is advancing very quickly, all the partner organizations of this project wanted to try to curb the problem or at least reduce the causes, through youth work. From this project, we wanted to train a group of 20 young people on the theme of eco-sustainable volunteering and on environmentally friendly living and volunteering practices. All this has been implemented in an intercultural environment, where participants from countries of different regions of the Mediterranean (Catalonia, Palestine, Jordan and Italy) have met to share their experiences, their vision of sustainability and have had the opportunity to learn a lot from the other participants and the facilitators of the exchange. The participants met at the Envall shelter, in order to increase their skills and then return to their countries richer in knowledge and empathy to try to have a positive impact on their local communities. The initial objectives of this project were as follows and all have been met: - Immersion in a rural reality; - Rediscovery of self and connection with nature and yourself; - Learning new sustainable living practices; - Getting to know and develop the concept of eco-volunteering; - Working in a multicultural environment with different languages and religions.
