The implementation of this international youth exchange project pursues the primary objective of comprehensively empowering the young participants so that they can become agents of social change in their communities, effectively promoting alternative models of more conscious, sustainable and socially responsible youth tourism. This is an ambitious initiative that aspires for these young people in vulnerable situations, both from Spain and Greece, to find in their participation in the project a platform for personal growth and a lever to raise their voices, becoming informed leaders capable of inspire and catalyze the positive transformation of tourism practices among peers towards more ethical, inclusive and sustainable paradigms. Through experiential training modules, practical awareness-raising activities, intense contact with local entities specialized in sustainable tourism, and the enriching exchange of experiences between peers from both countries, the project's fundamental purpose is to broaden the horizons of participants, providing them with in-depth knowledge, values and the necessary skills to ideate, co-create and lead innovative tourism alternatives attractive to young people but with a firm focus on sustainability. Likewise, the initiative aspires to lay the substantive foundations for these young people to graduate from the project converted into multiplying agents of change, with the capacity and motivation to educate, inspire and mobilize many other young people in their communities about the enormous transformative power they have. . their travel and tourism decisions, both for the protection of the environment and ecosystems, and for the inclusive social development of local communities. It is expected that participants will complete their time in the project legitimized to establish themselves as credible voices and role models, capable of attractively promoting diverse, enriching youth tourism that benefits all parties involved. In short, this project aspires to activate and constructively channel the immense potential of young people as engines of positive social change, starting from a topic that they are passionate about, worrying about the way they discover and relate to the world.
