Objectives

The project's main objective is to achieve the following outcomes from a youth work practice perspective: -Awareness raising and education: it seeks to increase awareness and understanding among young people about menstruation, addressing myths, taboos and associated stigmas, and encouraging a more open and respectful attitude towards this issue. -Empowerment and social skills: The aim is to empower young people to feel comfortable expressing their emotions and thoughts, especially around personal issues such as menstruation, through artistic expression activities and group dynamics that promote confidence and self-esteem. -Inclusion and diversity: The project seeks to create an inclusive space where all young people, regardless of gender, sexual orientation or cultural background, feel welcome and valued. Respect and acceptance of diversity in all its forms will be promoted. -Life skills: Work will be done to develop practical and emotional skills that are relevant to young people's daily lives, such as effective communication, conflict resolution, informed decision-making and critical thinking. -Community action and leadership: Community spirit and civic participation will be fostered among young people, encouraging them to become involved in social and environmental initiatives in their local communities. They will be encouraged to become active leaders. The main objectives of the project are: -To raise awareness about menstrual education and share this knowledge within their local communities. - To initiate a European movement to change perspectives on menstruation and empower people to adopt a positive and informed approach to menstrual health. - Promote and share good practices to minimise the environmental impact of menstrual hygiene products. - To learn about sustainable menstrual hygiene products and how to create them. -Understand global rights related to menstrual hygiene products and disseminate successful initiatives. - To promote the Erasmus+ programme and involve participants in the dissemination of the project.
