Objectives

This project emerged as a continuation of the collaboration initiated during a previous youth exchange. Participants expressed great interest in continuing the collaboration, and in the final session, we began planning the project, identifying shared goals and values. We kept in touch with participating groups from different countries via WhatsApp and agreed to maintain circus and music as central tools for non-formal education, given their relevance to our organizations. Furthermore, we recognized the group's need to interact more with nature and raise awareness of environmental issues. This project is also an example of best practice, as it demonstrated how participants could effectively collaborate in drafting and developing a joint project. By working closely during the creation and planning stages, participants gained valuable experience in teamwork, project design, and the importance of collective contribution. This project was not a one-off activity, but rather a step in an ongoing collaboration, and will serve as a reference point for future applications for similar initiatives. The main objective of this project was to raise community awareness about environmental issues through music, photography, and circus, and to establish a creative space for young people that would encourage reflection on pressing environmental issues, such as the water crisis and recycling. In addition to this main focus, the project's objectives were to offer participants support to improve their organizational skills, competencies, and levels of active citizenship. The main goals and objectives of this project were to empower young people with fewer opportunities to actively care for the environment and live a healthy lifestyle. Through creative activities such as circus, photography, and music, we sought to inspire them to shift from passive attitudes to active participation. The objective was for participants to develop a sense of responsibility for their well-being and the environment, which would help them generate meaningful changes in their lives and their communities. We also supported youth activism and empowerment by helping them acquire the skills to improve their own lives, the lives of others, and their communities. The project aimed to equip participants with practical skills such as leadership, public speaking, and problem-solving, enabling them to become promoters of social and environmental change. The goal was for them to learn how to organize, raise awareness, and lead change, empowering them to positively impact both their own lives and those of their communities. Interact with young people from different cultures and languages, experiencing multiculturalism firsthand: The project sought to bring together young people from diverse cultural backgrounds, encouraging them to better understand global issues and different perspectives. Raise awareness within the European community and use Erasmus+ to promote youth culture and environmental action: We hoped that the Erasmus+ program would provide a platform for participants to interact with peers across Europe, raising awareness of environmental issues and encouraging participation in initiatives focused on sustainability. This would connect local actions with broader European initiatives, allowing young people to understand their role in a broader movement for social and environmental change. In short, the project sought to empower young people with fewer opportunities by encouraging active participation in environmental care, promoting healthy living, and supporting youth activism. It also sought to engage participants from diverse cultures, raise awareness of environmental issues, and use Erasmus+ as a platform to foster youth culture and sustainability-focused initiatives across Europe.
