"Boost your Impact!" emerges as a response to the growing concern among youth about the climate and social challenges that confront us. With over 70% of European youth expressing deep concern about these issues, we recognize that it is time to transform that concern into effective action. *According to recent data from the European Union, over 70% of European youth are highly concerned about climate change and social issues. Youth, as a dynamic force in our society, need tools and skills to take their concerns beyond digital conversations and turn them into real impact. Statistics reveal that over 90% of European youth regularly use social media, making it a vital medium for spreading messages and promoting positive initiatives. In parallel, the European Commission has emphasized the importance of involving youth in climate and social action. In the words of Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, "Youth leads change. We must equip them with the tools necessary to lead the transformation towards a sustainable future." This statement supports our initiative by focusing on empowering youth with the skills and knowledge needed to be active change agents. Another key reason for wanting to undertake this project is that social fabric is strengthened when youth actively engage in initiatives addressing fundamental issues. "Boost your Impact!" seeks to create change agents who not only share digital content but also become catalysts for meaningful conversations. By empowering youth to use social media effectively, we contribute to creating more informed, participatory, and cohesive communities. Furthermore, digitally empowered youth represent a potential economic force. The project recognizes that digital skills are essential in today's job market. Training participants not only as advocates for causes but also as digital professionals expands their employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in an increasingly digitized world. Above all, active youth participation in social and climate issues is crucial for the evolution of policies and government decisions. "Boost your Impact!" aims to equip participants with the skills to effectively communicate their ideas, thereby exerting positive pressure on political actors. Informed and active youth can influence the political agenda and contribute to the design of more sustainable policies. The goals of our project go beyond social media training. We seek to create a strong network of committed and digitally competent youth capable of collaborating on significant projects addressing climate and social issues. By providing them with the right tools and facilitating cultural exchange, we aspire to inspire a new generation of conscious and empowered leaders. Boost your Impact! aims to empower European youth to become effective advocates for climate and social projects through the strategic use of social media. We also have 3 sub-objectives: 1. Develop impactful digital skills: train participants in social media strategies, content creation, and community engagement, providing them with the tools to maximize their reach. 2. Foster cultural and project exchange: facilitate an environment where participants share experiences, ideas, and best practices related to their projects, promoting enriching cultural exchange. 3. Cultivate a lasting network of youth leaders: establish strong connections among participants, creating a network that persists beyond the project and serves as a collaborative platform for future initiatives. "Boost your Impact!" aligns with the concerns and needs identified among European youth, leveraging the influence of social media and providing a platform to turn awareness into positive action, in line with calls from the European Union to empower youth in building a sustainable future.
