This project addresses the pressing need to navigate diversity and create inclusive European societies. It aims to provide support and tools to organizations and individuals who are working in the field of youth to establish high-quality projects and local activities that actively address topics of diversity and inclusion through education and practice exchanges focusing on non-formal education methods using the frame of the training course. Today societies are focusing more than ever on topics of inclusion and equity for a valid reason, our society is still facing big discrimination in different fields and on different levels, but more importantly, our societies are very often not inclusive enough for all the minorities and individuals facing different difficulties wich leads us to les divers communities and supports known forms of discrimination often stemming from insufficient education, awareness and critical thinking about the ways in which we behave towards human differences and individuals who belong to minority groups. The project aims to promote social sustainability by mainstreaming inclusion and diversity as guiding principles. Looking at sustainability through all 4 pillars of sustainability focusing on the social pillar which is the aspect in which the problem manifests itself in a consequential form and is the easiest to approach, not forgetting the other aspects of sustainability which together causally consider this large present problem of discrimination and insufficient inclusivity, which gives this project a holistic perspective on the subject of inclusivity. Tackling this topic through a holistic view in a safe environment held by experienced trainers and facilitators including participants who themselves have experienced discrimination or not being accepted because of their differences or struggles leads us to a training course that creates space for education and raising awareness about inclusion on all the levels, as well as empowering youth workers to address this topic from a holistic point by providing them with tools, methods, and a strong network that can support them in the continuous creation of more inclusive societies.
