The main aim of our project was to equip youth workers with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to effectively combat xenophobia and promote empathy among young people. In this context, the capacities of youth workers were developed and they were supported to pioneer positive changes in society. A more inclusive, diverse and understanding youth work environment was created. Through empathy training, the understanding that every young person, regardless of their background, is a valuable, accepted and respected individual was disseminated. In this way, the sense of active citizenship was strengthened among young people; awareness was raised regarding social participation and contributing to social well-being. The intercultural competencies of youth workers were developed, and understanding, tolerance and dialogue between different communities were encouraged. In this way, it was aimed to reduce prejudices and stereotypes. Innovative methods, tools and approaches in the field of youth were developed and shared through workshops within the scope of the project. Youth workers were equipped with effective methods to combat widespread xenophobia and social exclusion. Strategic goals such as social participation, active citizenship and individual empowerment were supported, leaving lasting impacts in youth work. At the same time, a strong youth worker network was established that supports peer learning and knowledge sharing. Thanks to this collaborative structure, good examples were disseminated and mutual support was provided. Our project made youth workers more equipped against xenophobia and encouraged empathy and social participation among young people. In line with Erasmus+ and the European Youth Strategies, it aimed to realize meaningful and sustainable transformations in the field of youth work. Thus, the foundations of a more inclusive and tolerant society were laid for all young people. Thus; -Youth workers were made aware of the causes and consequences of xenophobia; they learned effective methods of combating this issue through various training sessions. Participants gained the competence to intervene in prejudice situations they encountered. -Youth workers' empathy skills were strengthened through empathy-based workshops. These skills were reinforced with practical methods for them to transfer to their own young groups. Thus, the culture of empathy was also disseminated among young groups. -The principle of inclusivity was adopted with the activities carried out throughout the project. The participation of individuals from different origins was ensured, and good practices aimed at reducing discrimination were developed and disseminated. -The training included topics on social responsibility, participation in society and active citizenship.
