Objectives

Rolling against depopulation has been a training course oriented towards the rural territory, with an itinerant tour through 5 municipalities of the Guadalhorce Valley, to promote eco-entrepreneurship and social economy, but also to see the impacts and causes, and to understand the causes and solutions of the social and environmental problems of rural areas. The aim has been to inspire and empower agents of change towards rural and collective action for better practices for society and the planet, equity, social justice and sovereignty on a human scale. The main objective of this mobility action was to implement a bicycle route as a pilot experience together with other foreign entities. We believe that having carried out an action of this magnitude, combining youth mobility and social innovation has generated enormous interest and impact. It has also been directly related to the Erasmus Plus lines and its key mobility points: rural action, social entrepreneurship and innovation, environment/climate change. It has been an ambitious project due to its degree of specificity, but we consider that it has been implemented with great professionalism given that we are a local reference in this field together with the Malaga cooperative Alikindoi and we have a strong and diverse network of partners working shoulder to shoulder with us.
