Before the pandemic, young people were facing issues such as unemployment, social exclusion, environmental problems, forced migration, etc. Due to these issues, the anxiety and concern levels of young people were increasing day by day, negatively affecting their psychological well-being. The problems caused by the COVID pandemic and its variants continue to exacerbate the already high levels of anxiety and concern among young people, further impacting their psychological health. This situation is clearly presented in the report published in October 2022 by the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership, highlighting the impact of COVID-19 on the youth sector and the adequacy of the EU recovery and resilience plans (RRPs). According to the report, the rate of psychological difficulties among young people has doubled compared to the pre-pandemic period, leading to an increase in neurodivergent disorders. This disorder is directly related to the psychology and well-being of young people, and social inclusion, mental health, and well-being play a significant role in reducing it. However, it is noted that issues such as the mental health and well-being of young people are not adequately addressed. These findings indicate that the needs of young people and youth workers have intensified in various areas such as digital transformation, financial support, and access to mental health and well-being services during and after the pandemic. NGOs and youth workers dealing with neurodivergent young people need to actively work with these individuals and develop knowledge, experience, and attitudes through projects and initiatives, in addition to addressing emerging problems and needs after the pandemic. The main goal of this project is to enhance the administrative and financial capacities of institutions and NGOs working with neurodivergent young people (YwN), enabling them to produce projects and activities that support the socio-economic development of these young individuals. To achieve this goal, the objectives of our project are: 1. To increase the capacity of institutions and NGOs working with "neurodivergent" young people to establish sustainable partnerships at national and international levels and create an international cooperation network. 2. To enhance the competencies of youth workers in these institutions and NGOs in working with YwN and facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience among them. 3. To increase the number and quality of projects and activities involving particularly disadvantaged young people, thereby enhancing their socio-economic participation and employability. 4. To contribute to raising awareness of neurodivergent disorders in society.
