Objectives

Flow Motion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sk0_uzIw3m4 was a project that intertwined in a holistic and integrative pedagogy the approach of Embodiment, Dance, martial arts and Nonviolent Communication focusing on mental health and well-being, community development and mutual support, and creativity in Youth Work. In this way, we were able to meet our objective of proposing an innovative approach based on the body and creativity as means to foster pathways of self-knowledge and understanding of others. This context allowed us to begin to make visible and reflect on the relational, socio-econmic, physical, emotional and cultural conditions that influence both individual and community participation of the youngsters. Likewise, with this mobility staff, we hoped to continue expanding our network of collaborators at the European level, developing the training framework, based on what we have begun cultivation over the past year, in relation to youth work, community development, body-based practices and intercultural dialogue. Furthermore, we understand that comprehensive youth participation requires taking into account both the virtual and ecological environments - that is, the digital and physical settings. In this sense, we have fulfilled our commitment as an organization to integrate ecology and sustainability into all our activities, acting with respect towards the environment and incorporating principles of deep ecology into our practices and non formal education theory. Regarding the digital dimension, technological tools played a central role both in the preparation of the project, as also in the dissemination of its results. Virtual communication between the organization and the participants was essential in the preparatory phase of the exchange and has been a key element in building and strengthening the partnership with our collaborating organizations. Finally, it is worth noting that during the staff mobility, the digital sphere remained ever-present, as we consider it necessary to engage with youth language and their practices: participating in platforms and social networks, sharing interactive content, and creating connection among participants in the virtual space. In this way, we have managed to establish a virtual audience for the project that follows our activities online, helping to build a network among participants, collaborators and the target group. More concretely, it combined practices and knowledge that come from: Dance Movement Therapy, Authentic Movement, Somatic Experiencing Method, Conscious Breathing, Somatic Education, Contact Improvisation, Deep Ecology, Aikido, Group Dynamics and Non Violent Communication. The main objective was to provide tools to promote mental health, the creative process, and social inclusion within youth communities. With this purpose, participants were able to acquire a diverse set of techniques oriented towards embodiment, creativity and expression. The training process was carried out within both personal and group frameworks, where we facilitated an experiential and reflective process, at both individual and collective levels, in relation to the challenges and adversities that youth work faces in a contemporary context. Participants therefore had the opportunity to engage in group dynamics, creative activities, and safe spaces for both personal and collective reflection, as well as to learn new techniques for somatic, emotional, group, and social awareness. In addition, theoretical seminars provided scientific content to the program, supporting a cognitive understanding of the experiential process. The more specific objectives of this project were: Inclusion and participatory practices Community well-being in the world of youth. Body awareness and learning through the body. Adopt an eco-minded approach. Encourage the creative process. Work on conflict resolution. To make Erasmus+ opportunities visible. Prioritizing people with fewer opportunities. Encourage the creation of a cross-cutting European network. Cultivate the entrepreneurship of innovative projects and ideas that We can confirm that we worked for all these objectives and the result was the best possible.
