Objectives

Our main objective was to provide innovative tools and up-to-date knowledge to optimise existing approaches to climate awareness education. In particular, we focused on the development of Green Skills and their application in the workplace, thus facilitating a transition towards sustainable and green entrepreneurship models. In this way, we seek to equip youth workers with the necessary competences and attitudes to foster green skills in young people and their incorporation into a labour market that values these skills. In addition, we also address the emotional psychological dimension of environmental challenges and explore effective ways to manage them. Through reflective and introspective dynamics, we fostered a reconnection with nature and a greater sensitivity towards it. A central element of the project was to ensure a lasting impact. For this reason, we prioritised practical training, enabling participants to hone their youth work strategies from the moment they enrolled. This methodology helped them to identify needs, develop solutions, design activities and implement them both during and after the course. Follow-up and support was also provided to implement these initiatives for up to three months after the end of the project.
