With this project, we aimed, on the one hand, to consolidate the collaboration with our Francj partner and to improve the quality of our youth exchange projects. On the other, we aimed to offer an on-the-ground learning experience to two young people who have qualified as instructors of educational activities in children's and youth leisure time with us, at our organization's instructor training school for no formal education activities. The two youngsters participating in the job shadowing, in addition to having a connection with our organization because they took part in our educative leisure time activities course in the summer of 2023, were already familiar with the experience of youth exchanges, having participated several times in previous summers in exchanges organized by our organization. This job shadowing has been another step for them in their personal journey to become successful youth leaders of a European youth exchange: from participants to qualified instructors to experienced youth leaders. For the organizations participating in this project, this has been another opportunity to strengthen our collaboration, opening up a new path through this project: training our young people to be effective group leaders in our organizations' upcoming youth exchanges. The objectives of our project were: - to strengthen cooperation and networking with our French partner - to improve the quality of our future youth exchange projects - to train our youth workers through an immersive learning experience in a youth exchange to become effective youth leaders - to train our leaders and youth to be effective facilitators of the learning process for youth exchange participants - to train them, through daily exchange activities, how to manage the different aspects of a youth exchange (logistics, evaluation, supporting the learning of participating youth, the Youth Pass, etc., coordination between youth leaders, etc.)
