The main objective of MEU Spain 2024 is to bring the European institutions and their values closer to young people in order to increase youth participation through non-formal education, thus forming young people actively involved in their communities and in the political and social life of the Union. The specific objectives are: O1. To promote European values such as tolerance, dialogue, diversity, democracy, solidarity, cooperation and intercultural collaboration by increasing the feeling of belonging to the EU of the 150 young people participating in the 2 activities; O2. To increase the understanding of the functioning of the EU legislative process of the 100 participants in the 5 days of simulation in València by encouraging critical thinking and constructive dialogues. O3. Provide spaces for youth participation and encourage the autonomy of the 50 young people as well as their contact with decision makers through the BETA Debates.
