The project “Together We Discover Culture and Gastronomy in Europe” aimed to offer young people with fewer opportunities from Burgos, Spain, the chance to get to know Europe through its cultural and gastronomic diversity. Our main objectives were: • To promote inclusion and diversity, ensuring that young people facing economic, geographical, cultural, or physical barriers could participate on equal terms with their peers. • To foster learning through discovery, using travel, gastronomy, and cultural exchange as tools to promote intercultural understanding, tolerance, and respect for European values. • To remove barriers to mobility, providing personalized support, accessible itineraries, mentoring, and the presence of accompanying persons when necessary. • To empower participants, developing transversal competences such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and intercultural competence, recognized through the Youthpass. • To build a community of young explorers, encouraging participants to share their discoveries and reflections, thus contributing to a more united and inclusive Erasmus+ network.
