Objectives

The development of the different activities of this project aims to offer opportunities for youth participation through the organization of the respective DiscoverEU trips with young people with fewer opportunities. Without actions like this, these young people would be left far outside these adventures. The profiles of young people with fewer opportunities towards whom we direct our project are those such as: - young people formerly supervised by the child protection system, young people with a migratory profile who live in apartments supervised by the entities or with their families in Granada and the province (Granada Acoge Association, Collective of Ex-tuteled of Granada, AMANI Collective), - young people who are undergoing oncological treatments as well as other young people in their environment who are also affected at a given moment by the arrival of Cancer in their immediate reality (Association Relay for Life against Juvenile Cancer), - young people with intellectual, physical and sensory functional diversities (San José de Guadix Association and Jean Piaget School of Armilla), - young people with unstructured family situations also affected by a low socioeconomic level and usually residing in rural areas or disadvantaged areas with needs for social transformation, - young people with difficulties in their daily life at a functional, behavioral, emotional level, etc. (mental health) and that significantly interfere with your daily life (Plenimus Project - Mental Health - in Monachil) Our objectives for this project are the following: - offer youth opportunities for young people who normally do not even know about these opportunities. - Support the participation of young people with fewer opportunities for everything that comes with being a young adult and participating as an active citizen. - Raise awareness in society about the need to build socially from the commitment and respect for diversity and inclusion. - promote the development of personal skills of the Youth participating in this project through the already known, "Learning by Doing".
